What type of laptop is it? (Manufacturer/Model) Generally the manufacturer will have specific drivers available on their support site.

SOURCE: how to change (or update) wap to wpa encryption on ASUS WIFI-B Network Adapter

With this Asus wireless B adapter even the new driver dont support WPA wireless security , because right now sicne WPA is a much newer and higher type of wireless encryption only some wireless B adapter supports that and sorry to say this wireless adapter that you have don't support it even with the latest driver so it will be better to get a new wireless G adapter that supports WPA 100% , you can get the wireless adapter from Asus or from other wireless device manufacturer like Linksys, Netgear. Dlink and Belkin....

SOURCE: problems with WiFi netgear WNDA3100

the drivers should be installed in windows 7 by default, their so called "smart wizard" has some compatibility issues with windows 7, I get it to load up and it will shut down or glitch out. What I did was uninstall the downloaded driver and use the default windows drivers, flipped the switch off to my built in G wifi adapter and the netgear automatically kicked in and took over as the default wireless adapter.

Error message "A physical WiFi

Hello,
I believe you just need to reinstall the driver for your Wifi adapter.
Here's the link where you can download the driver for your wifi adapter Click Here. Just click the Download Drivers and Software on the left side and then you will have options if you want to have the website to auto detect your system or just browse for a specific product.
Hope this helps

I am trying to connect to my virgin mobile internet via the virgin mobile flash drive, the netbook isn't even picking up that I have the flash drive plugged into the computer.

If this is a Sylvania Netbook running Win CE 6 it is possible that the operating system simply doesn't have a driver for Virgin Mobile cellphone.

The only way I have been able to connect to the internet is via Wifi or a LAN cable plugged into the back. I doubt you will get any other method to work.

Please note the Wifi can be via a Wifi access point on your cellphone, a portable, mobile hotspot that connects via a USB modem or any other functional Wifi access point.
