No, as there is no actual 3D support in the driver in Linux. Even on Windows, 3D support is abysmal, so you're not missing much.

The video card driver for Ubuntu operating platform is not yet supported and some computer companies don't have support to this chip.

I have run linux on several different hardware and found that HP & IBM are by far the best.

Vista drivers can work fine on windows 7 due to their sharing of the same driver architecture. So try using vista drivers for SIS 3 mirage gfx
