Bummer deal! Don't know what the blinks mean. But do know starters. They need to be good and have a 5 to 10 year lifetime. A bad started growls sickly with little spin power - showing such means its bad. It needs a good at least 3/4 battery full of voltage to spin the motor. An 06 might have the original battery, now at the end of its lifetime - so that could be your trouble. Try a jump start to see if your car starts. If it starts, the battery is someway at fault. A good battery with dirty connections can cause your problem. They need cleaned by complete removal and wire brushed cleaned. Always take off negative post first and connect it last to avoid harm to the alternator - which also much be working to keep the battery full of voltage. Try those checks. Did you try pulling fuse's one at a time till power is restored ? Then trouble shoot the thing's on that circuit .

i think you have to drain the gearbox which will drain the transfer case,if your not sure then leave well alone because it may have to be sucked out through the filler plug with a special tool part number so and so

disassemble the right wheel assembly and pull out the right wheel axel. Remove the alternator throught the right wheel well.
