Radio station broadcast through speakers

How do i get rid of the radio noise- a radio station broadcast comes out of the speakers whenever they are turned on. If I disconnect the computer output cord, the noise stops, but if I mute the computer's volume it doesn't make a difference. They didn't do this before I moved to a new room in a different dorm. Why is this, and is there anything I can do to reduce/eliminate it?

First off no offence but this is happening because they are cheap .. (i know from experience lol)

okay this sounds dumb but it works radio waves cannot go through brass so setting something brass by your speakers will solve this problem

Radio frequently just stops broadcasting and eventually comes back on

Peggy, Is the radio actually switching off or do you just loose the radio station. If radio is shutting off, there must be a bad wire/ plug connection, loose plug, or maybe bad ground.
If loosing station, have Arial/antenna connections checked, maybe upgrade to better antenna. Some stations just do not send out a strong signal which can also cause loss of station.

FM Transmitter does not connect to car radio, have FX signal and Line out works.

Car cradle works "wirelessly" with Car Radio (inherent design of unit). Place Unit in Cradle; connect Cradle to Auto Power Source, and SkyFi3 should power on. Press Menu to Get FM Radio station channels; select a lower station Channel Frequency i.e. 88.3 or any vacant channel number and the signal should transfer to your Radio speakers automatically. You can change Station frequencies as often as you need to do so--for example if traveling through different broadcast areas, some channels frequencies are clearer than others. Good luck.

Local Radio Station Coming Through Speakers

This problem has been around since before the computer age and is quite common, it's also happened with local taxi firms in the area suddenly broadcasting on your speakers.

The reason it happens is that the speaker cable length is very close to the frequency the station is broadcasting on one solution is to pruchase a ring magnet and wrap the cable several time around it, another is to use screened cable, both are not cost effective, the simple solution is to purchase a speaker extension lead.

My computer speakers are picking up radio stations with out me do

define the noise you are getting.... computers are horrible for radiating radio interference .... so solving it may jus be a case of moving the speakers further away from the computer if possible

Factory radio

Your radio maybe bad.
Use a boom box radio and connects wires to car speakers and turn on the boom box radio. If you have good sound to the car speaker, than car radio has gone to heaven.

My car radios, M7 and 930 Ruf Slant Nose, have the same problem.
German cars & radios are not built as good as the Japanese cars.

Noise in the speakers

You don't get enough ground. Take your ground wires and connect them directly to the frame. Goodluck.
