LG Smart TVs employ firmware to operate their state-of-the-art systems. ... firmware wouldn't update on my 47 inch Smart TV, so I downloaded ... Jensen 8 months ago ... LG is not a good company, LG is not sending software updates on .... how to connect your laptop, android, iphone and or tablet to your tv ..
It all depends on how many HDMI input you have in the back of the TV, usually most models have 3. If you already have the TV and the sound already connected, then all you need to do is connect the player to the back of the TV to any of the HDMI input. Those are usually mark as HDMI 1 HDMI 2 and HDMI 3, so when you use your remote control to change the input in the TV, make sure to which input you connect the player to. You don't have to touch or do anything to the sound system.
No, the A1-830 doesn't support MHL (micro-USB to HDMI). So the micro-USB to HDMI adapter will not work. The tablet's USB port will only support connecting to the charger or a PC's USB port. Here's a list of known MHL devices: http://www.mhlconsortium.org/devices.aspx . The previous model (A1-810) had a micro-HDMI port that could connect to a TV's HDMI port with the appropriate cable. You might be able to use the AllCast app and a Roku or FireTV box. You will need to upgrade to the Premium version for any files longer than 5 minutes.
The other way to mirror content from the Iconia A1-830 would be to transfer it to your computer. Then send the file to the TV via Plex or SmartShare depending on the file and your TV. If you can upgrade the tablet to Android 4.4.2 or higher, then a ChromeCast will let you mirror content directly from the Iconia A1-830. This will require steps that can make the tablet unusable (research rooting an Android device).
I wish that I had better news for you. Unfortunately, even if you have a TV with a USB port, it probably will not access the files on the tablet. (Many only support FAT32 or NTSC file systems.)
Try starting the WiDi software in your Windows 8 device (and make sure that you have latest software, and DLNA enabled), then go to SmartShare in LG television. There should be WiDi icon visible. Select that - your windows 8 device should now show ask whetehr you allow the connection. Answer yes. The screen sharing should work after that.
That depends on your phone, the easiest way is if your phone has mini HDMI, then all you would need is a lead to connect (cost in the region oof 5.00 from Ebay. Other phones, Nokia for example had a special lead that connected from the headphone socket to a scart TV. The newest TVs have DLNA which would connect your phone wirelessly using smartshare.
YOU NEED TO CONNECT OPTICAL CABLE (NOT INCLUDED) TO OPTICAL1 CONNECTION ON YOUR HB405 AND OPTICAL OUT OF YOUR TV. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE DONE THAT TRY PRESSING SIMPLINK BUTTON ON YOUR TV REMOTE NAD CHANGE THE SPEAKER OUTPOUT FROM TV TO HT(HOME THEATER).
