Motorolla slvr wont recognize sim card

try another sim card first to verify if the problem is not your sim card. if the next sim card is still not recognized, there is a problem with the phone. you may have to bring it to repair shop.

this problem come from your phone that did not recognized your sim card, try insert your sim card to anohter phone, if at another phone it recognized the problem come from your nokia 7610 supernova sim card slot section, change sim card slot with new one, this will solve your problem

Remove the SIM and clean it with soft cloth.
Try the SIM on any other Mobile phone.
You can also try another SIM card on this mobile to make sure the phone is working properly.
If another SIM card is working properly that means the SIM card you are currently using may be corrupt. Its easy to replace a SIM then replacing a phone.
Clean both SIM and phone Connectors then try to insert the SIM.

1.) Did you ever try to clean the sim card reader or even to resolder its connectors ( if you are a mobile tech ).
2.) Chances are when you replace your current sim, you will be back up running.

the phone wants a sim card to function, the only way to bypass that is to have the phone unlocked. You can purchase a code pretty cheap around the net.
