Cant open the toy summit safe

That is a picture of the Youniverse Electronic Lock N Safe.

Power up the safe (3 x AA battery);
Remove the batteries, then press any key on the keypad;
Replace the batteries & the safe makes a creaking sound;
Factory default open code of 0000 has now been set;
Enter 0000 on the keypad then turn knob counter-clockwise & pull door open.

Resetting password user name & password: b> *Start your computer
*Keep pressing "F8" as the computer starts.
*This will enter the computer in Safe Mode.
*(When the window "Advanced Boot Options" opens, choose "SafeMode" with arrow key and confirmby pressing the Enter key, then computer enters Safe Mode.
*Once you are in the Safe mode Click "Administrator" on the Windowslogin screen.
*Take note that you have set the Administrator password before, you need toinput the changed password instead of leaving "Password" field blank.
*Then click Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Select the accountthat is locked and change the password.
**Restart computer and login into the account you just created using your newpassword.

Step 1: Enter Safe Mode

a) Start or re-start your computer.

b) Before the Windows 7 loading screen appears, Press 'F8? to enter Advanced Boot Options.

c) Use arrows to choose 'Safe Mode' when you can see the Advanced Boot Options screen.

d) Press 'Enter' and wait for Windows 7 files to load.

e) Log on with an administrator account when you can see the log on screen

Note: Well, when you are presented with the Advanced Boot Options screen, there are 3 types of Safe Mode. They are the Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and the 3 options are all available for you. Here above we take Safe Mode as an example, but if you choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt, you'll need to input related to command prompt to reset the password.

There is a hidden default Administrator account that is created when your operating system is installed. Access that account to reset your password.
1. Boot your computer and press F8 repeatedly
2. Access Safe Mode
3. Key in "Administrator" in Username, with no password.
4. Go to Control Panel, then User Accounts
5. Select the account you want to reset the password
6. Change the password

The Discovery Kids Safe works slightly differently. When you press the reset button on the bottom of the safe, the code defaults to "1234". To set a new code, Press *, then your four-digit code, then * again.
Emergency Open: In case of malfunction, hold down "WIRE" button and push on the drawer.

I had one a while ago and I remember that you had to stick inthe card and open the safe and while it was open, you had to put in the new code and that should work. p.s. does he use a pink one or was that the only picture you could find? I lost my card and got paper stuck in it so we sold mine. I triked my grandpa into putting $5 into mine.

On this safe, first hold the reset button on the bottom for 30 seconds to reset it. The code should now be the factory default of 1234. Next, type 1-2-3-4 and ot your thumb to the fingerprint reader on the front to open it. It should open. If it starts saying activated, just enter the code once more.

Now to reset the code. With the safe open, enter the new code and press star. Do this once more to confirm. You should hear an acknowledgment tone that it is now set.

Type in the code 1234 ENTER then enter your child's new pin.
