Bootloader flash mode

I have a straight talk Galaxy proclaimed and a friend gave me a htc evo 4g lte from sprint. What can i do to use that phone. please help

You can not flash a CDMA(sprint,Verizon,etc) phone to a different carrier unless the carrier your flashing it to accepts foreign ESNs CricKet is the only one that I am aware of that allows this. if the ESN is not originally from that provider they will not add it to there network.

First you can try to soft reset your device. After that, you can try a hard reset just by pressing and holding both the " -" keys right above the answer and end keys and pressing the power button . It will run the ghost image and recover the device ...

Note :

1) make sure your battery is more than 50 % charged .
2)you must do a power cycle in your device ( take out the battery , then press and hold the power button ) before you do a hard reset ...

If none of these helps, you can try to reflash your ROM (Since you're already in bootloader mode), simply plug your PDA to your computer with a USB cable, and download an upgrade ROM from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=408) or just download your original ROM from HTC website and flash it using the instructions in the xda-developer forums. Hope this helps.

You can't flash a CDMA phone(HTC EVO 4G LTE on Sprint(CDMA network) to a GSM network(Straight talk which is on T-Mobile's network(GSM network) the hardware is not interchangeable. A GSM SIM card is not the same as a 4G LTE SIM card(UUID) they store different data. GSM SIM hold your carrier account information that authorizes you to use the network while a UUID only hold data that is relevant to you accessing the 4G LTE part of the network the remainder of your carrier data is stored on the phone hardware.

alot of 4g phones can't be changed from 1 carrier 2 next,check with ststraight talk & c if they can't convert.my daughters 4g phone couldn't go to page plus,which has chest unlimited plan of all others.verizon carries 4g but little higher,but bout same as straight talk,so talk to them.If ur phone can be converted,take it to kiosk or dealer that does work on straight talk,maybe radio shack.good luck

Probably has either a faulty main board in phone, or a faulty wifi antennae
