I uninstall ask. Then in Internet Explorer turn off all addons. Then i never use IE again unless it is to turn off all addons again. Then i go to settings in firefox or opera and turn off ask in prefered search engines. Then i go to program files and delete the ask folder. (In Vista/Win7/Win8) Then Windows Explorer/Organized/Folder And Search Options/ checkmark Show hidden files folders or drives also uncheck hide protected operating system files. under C:Program Data delete ask Under Administrator or possibly your account name /Appdata/Roaming look for ask and delete if it is there also /Local Low or /Local Remove ask if you see it This should be enough if it exists in the register windows can handle it or use a registry cleaner.

SOURCE: I uninstalled Tatoodle from Programs (on Contriol

I'm sorry but you have unfortunately been picked at random by a secret organization that doesn't exist to endure a lifetime with Tatoodle. No more Google. However I don't exist neither so I'll help you."-}

For Firefox Web Browser:

  • Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
  • Click on the "Add-ons" option.
  • Click on the "Extensions" tab.
  • Select Tatoodle and click "Uninstall"
  • Restart Firefox
Microsoft Internet Explorer:
  • Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
  • Click up "Internet Options at the bottom.
  • Click on the "Programs" tab.
  • Click on the "Manage Add-ons".
  • Scroll through the Add-ons and highlight Tatoodle and click the "Delete" button.
  • Restart your browser.
This should take care of the issue. However you will most likely be under surveillance .......forever and ever...
If you need any thing clarified or more importantly if this doesn't work please let me know. Because it's most likely caused by Malware.

SOURCE: i want to remove ask.com from my homepage and make

You need to provide the operating system and the browser information. There is usually an Internet Options control panel somewhere in the operating system. It usually has the option to enter the address of a new home page on the top layer of the menus in the control panel, then it gives you the option to apply the change.

SOURCE: set google as homepage

Very easy to answer. I assume that you are using internet explorer as your browser. If so you simply go to the tools pull-down menu, then choose the last litem on the menu which is internet options, after this the first item is to set your homepage. Either go to google.com and enter "use current" or type google.com in the box provided. Thant's it.

I want to remove Ask and make Google my homepage

I do not know your windows version. Let me try anyways,
1) Click -> Start -> Go to control panel -> double click on internet options.
2) In the window that comes up you, will see a section called Home page on the upper side. The url mentioned there would be for ask.com.
3) Delete that and type http://www.google.com and click on OK
4) Go to Control Panel again and double click on Add/Remove Programs, you will find some softwares related to "Ask" or "Ask search", uninstall those if you would want to.
