Try avoiding frequent charges. If possible charge only when the mobile has discharged up to a very low power, say 20%. This increases battery life. For now allow your mobile to drain out completely, then follow the above approach, you may observe an improvement in the battery life. If still it does not improve, you need to visit a servicing centre.

We often want to improve our BlackBerry battery life. There are some ways to do just that, and by doing so we will be able to improve the life expectancy of our BlackBerry. They are :
Turn of the wifi
Decrease the Back-light Timeout
Decrease the Back-light Brightness
Turn on Automatically Dim the Blackberry Back-light
Turn of key tone
Mute Audible Roll
Set Profile to Vibrate more often ( as ring out will decrease battery life)
Close applications which are not in use
Turn off Led Coverage Indicator
Turn of Camera Flash
Doing the above will improve your BlackBerry Battery Time
My iPhone 5s 64GB battery life is not much better than my 4s 64GB battery life, but considering that the 5s is much much faster than my 4s I guess that's pretty impressive.
For the Updates, try downloading an Update package on Motorola's website.
To improve battery life, try disabling or uninstalling apps in Settings>Apps>Active/Downloaded - Reduce your screen brightness and set it to auto if possible - Deactivate Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth if you don't need it - Deactivate Push Notifications or set up a schedule (You can find this in the Settings of you IM or E-Mail-app)
never leave your laptop on until the battery is out of charge optimally, you can remove your battery after it's fully charged and keep your charger connected until needed.

I've got my G3 a couple of months ago and in the setting I adjusted my screen brightness to the minimum level that I feel comfortable with. That did help improving the battery life. Also two more things helped as well. If you keep your bluetooth on at all times that will use your battery. The last thing that I realized was the wifi mode. Since I have free internet access came with the Iphone plan I turned my wi-fi off and it help me with the battery life too. I get avarage of 3 days from my phone without charging it now.
