How can I use JVC AVX810 with Iphone? Currently IPOD works fine with the USB cable but IPHONE is not recognised. Maybe there is an adaptor that can solve it?

JVC KS-PD100 iPod Interface Adapter (257KSPD100, sold separately). This optional iPod Interface Adapter supports audio playback for the following iPod models - iPod click-wheel (3rd gen), iPod photo (4th gen), iPod mini (1st/2nd gen), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPod video (5th gen), and iPod classic (80/120/160GB). The KS-PD100 is not compatible with the iPod touch (1st/2nd/3rd gen), iPod nano (5th gen), or iPhone (2G/3G/3GS). This iPod interface will also not charge the iPod nano (4th generation). *Apple firmware updates may change functionality results.

Hi, i'm looking for an instruction manual to download for my 3rd gen 8gb ipod nano

Hello, Apple Service Rep here.
Here is the features guide for reference: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/ipod_nano_3rd_gen_features_guide.pdf
Now there is no actual manual for it online. Just a features guide. You could of course refer to the 2nd gen and 4th gen manuals.
If you are still hesitant, have a look: http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipodnano3rdgeneration
Kindest Regards, Braunson

I am looking for a full complete instructions

I get so confused over iPod generations - here is a 4th generation Nano user guide - the other user guides are also on Apple's website if you happen to have a 2nd or 3rd Gen:

I cant turn my ipod off

Hi there dbj185,

If you go to the Apple website you can find the manuals for all their equipment. Here's the link for their ipod nanos:

http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipodnano

On Pg6 of the 2nd Gen Nano manual there is a list it's functions. Second one down is how to turn it off which is 'Press and hold Play/Pause'.

All the best

IPod Nano 4 GB -- what gen?

Hello,
If you have the Nano with the smaller screen measuring 1" x 1.25" and got it 3 years ago, you most likely have the 2nd generation. Apple doesn't really have cases on their site for the older nano. I have the same one and purchased my case at Target. They have a good selection of 3rd party (non-Apple branded) cases. You can also check an Apple store if you have one close by.
Hope this was helpful.
Have a great day

Compatability with 4th gen nano

I have had exactly the same problem having bought a JBL Radial Micro for my partner for Xmas for use with the Ipod Nano, i contacted JBL via their website and was advised to contact Harmen on 01707278100. I was advised that the new ipod nano (chromatic) would not charge on the JBL radial micro. They stated that this was due to Apple changing the charging pin in the new nano. I have since bought a JBL Stage III. I contacted Harmen before buying this and was advised that the Stage II would not work. Hope that this is of use.
