There is a spring on the bolt stop but it can't be lost unless somebody took it out. Remington has them. Bolt stop return spring.

Light lubes will freeze in cold weather. Try lubricating with a heavier lube. Any moisture onto bolt the isn't properly lubed will freeze the bolt or trigger assembly.

Make sure it is unloaded chamber and clip !
Push safety off ( forward )
Pull trigger and pull bolt out at the same time.
Or sell to me ( have FFL ) just sold a 513 T that was to heavy for a old man.
