Hi I am quite new to PHP and SQL, i installed phpAuction on my website (http://www.mcdt.cc). It worked fine, i didn't change any files and i turned off my computer, then i went back to my website and only the header, navigation bar and logo load on the home page. This problem has occurred before and i thought i messed up a file in the DB so i un-installed it and then re-installed it. Now i realize that it wasn't me who messed things up. So i need to know what i must change to get it to work. I think it might be a problem with the SQL settings on my DB. I am running MySQL. The version of PHPAuction is: PHPAuction XL V3.1. I am willing to pay $100.00 dollars to who ever can fix it. Please help me, i am desperate! Please send me the solution to my e-mail address. Kind regards BearWeb - Dustin Ellse (dustin@mcdt.cc)

- Hi Alex

I am not using Microsoft FrontPage. My front page was showing fine when i started the site but one day later, it just stopped working. I turned to "Test Mode", then i switched back to "Live Mode" and it worked fine, but now when i try to do t again it still doesn't work.

I can give you access to my Admin area and/or my DB if you can sort this problem out.

Kind regards
Dustin Ellse (BearWeb)

Are you using Microsoft's FrontPage? If so, does your hosting company have Front Page Extensions enabled?
Have you looked carefully at your home page to see whether you hae an End Page character mark in the wrong place, such that your page is being truncated?

- Only a couple of questions for you. If you havn't gotten help on this yet.
Does your hosting service require that the front, or first page f your site have an extension? All of the initial pages on my sites are called "default.htm" and, for some reason known to my hosting company, must have that HTM designation on them, or they simply will not work.
Is your situation the same? If your home pages do not have the "htm" extension specified, does that disable them?
Some even require that it be "htl" appended, such that the first page, where visitors show up to get into your site, be called 'default.html" and if not so named, it simply will not work, and not take people any farther.
Those are the only suggestions I have for you to check into. I only wish I knew more about this to be able to help you. I will see if a friend, who moved from the NY area to Texas, might be able to contact you and help you out.
