It is the anti-theft code.  Check your owners manual, as the 4 digit code may be written down somewhere by the original owner.  If you can't find the code, you'll need to call a dealer.  If the radio is original, they can look up the code by your VIN number.  Otherwise you'll need to pull the radio out and find the serial number and they can look it up that way.  The dealer should provide this over the phone free of charge.  If they tell you that you have to bring the car in and charge you, then call another dealer.  You enter the code using the station preset buttons 1-6.

Turned radio off then battery died, got vehicle fixed but no power to factory radio, all fuses check as good. Is there a trick to getting the radio to turn on again?

when the battery dies or is removed , the anti-theft code of the radio kicks in and the unit will not work again until a special code for that radio is reinstalled
the code could be in the user manual in the radio use section ,or there are sites on the net that may have the code for you

I have a 1997 acrua battery died now radio is asking for a code

when power is diconnected from your car, the radio will ask for a code. this is part of the anti theft system of your car. inside your owners manuel case, there should be a slip with the code on it.( hope its there) input this into your radio. if its not allowing you, disconnect the battery, and reconnect. this should allow you to input the code sequence.

Hopefully it's somewhere with the paper work for your car, should be 5 digits. If not the
dealer will have to get radio serial no. to obtain the code. Good luck.

2007 Honda Odyssey Battery died and when I recharged it my car radio says code and wont start?

Yes your radio need a code and you suppose to have it when you bought the car. So now call your dealer and ask for the code and i think they will ask for your information and your VIN number. Good luck

The cars battery died and now i recharged it and the radio is asking for a code whats the code and how do you type it in

that would be the security code that is meant to protect the radio from being stolen. This is usually provided on a plastic card when you buy the car. In case you don't have it, you will have to go in person to your honda place and identify yourself as the owner.

As soon as the power is cut off to the radio (ie, the battery dies or the radio is ripped out of the dashboard) the radio gets locked. This is when you need the code.

Good luck.
