I get an activation window telling me to activate my copy of Norton Utilities in the activation window including your unique code found on the back of your manual supplied in the box. I never received such a box with manual. This is the 3rd time i have emailed for help,the first time about 3 weeks ago. The only responce was an email saying they would respond as soon as possible (tipically within one business day.I am still waiting. PLEASE HELP

    It depends where you got the software...Did it come with the computer? Was it downloaded?

    Is this a new copy of Norton Utilities? Did you buy a copy in a box from a retail store, or did you buy it online and download it from Norton's website?

    Hi there. You say you never received a box with a manual. Did you buy Norton Utilities? Did it come in a sheath with your system, or was it already on your system when you bought it?

Why is my Norton out of date even though I purchased the renewal?

Hi there,

The issue is because you have not activated your Norton program with the renewal code or the product key. To activate, open your Norton program and click on the "renew" or "subscribe" button on the bottom of the product.

Enter the renewal code or the product key that you have and click on the yellow arrow button next to it to activate your program.

While im installing this norton 360 4.0 for my netbook,it says the product key was wrong then i didn't get the 1 year protection instead u just get the 30 days trial,,,help me please how can install the 1...

Hi,when you download or installing to activate Norton 360ver. 4.0,type the activation key in a Notepad and please make sure it is the correct thing,because there is possibility of one getting some letters wrong,then copy and and paste in the activation pane.

Can i download remaining activation to a computer which has a different email address

Sure, you can download the Norton program if you have activations left.


Click on the link www.norton.com/n360s_5 to download the latest version
Once the installation is complete the program will prompt you for the product key
Copy and paste your product key to activate your Norton program.

I AM TRYING TO ACTIVATE MY NORTON UTILITIES PROGRAM THAT I DOWN LOADED LAST WEEK.IT IS ASKING ME FOR THE ACTIVATION KEY. I DON,T HAVE IT. WHERE DO I GET IT? IT SAYS I HAVE 22 DAYS LEFT TO ACTIVATE,

You should have received the activation code when you purchased the download....if you didn't purchase the download, then go online to www.symantec.com to purchase/activate your program. Print your receipt with the activation code on it...or you should have received an email from Norton (Symantec) with your activation code. If the program you downloaded was a trial version, then you will need to purchase it in order to get your activation code......

FixYa does not recognize Norton Utilities as a product

Some programs will not let you post a serial number, because of of copy right issues.

if you have bought the original software then i reccomend you to contact symantec help center the will recover your unique activation code
using any other code might not give you the full functionality of the software you may not be able to get virus definition updates so contact symantec asap

you can download the activation key for norton 2009 here ---> www.mininova.com (search for norton activation key in mininova's search engine).

but you have to have torrent downloader before u can download anything from torrent sites like mininova. you can download the torrent downloader for free here ---> www.bittorrent.com

Norton anti virus activation problem

you should have received an email with the activation code in it. If not, the email will have a tech support email or phone number. Good luck

BTW, I never pay for antivirus or spyware programs. I use Avast! antivirus. It's free and comes with a spyware program that is also free. I also browse the internet with FireFox which has all kinds of embedded security unlike Internet Explorer. you can download Firefox from the Mozilla website.
