Hi!
First of all please check whether the door gasket might be loose due to which the door is not staying locked. Please also check if the lid switch is the problem. First please try to jump it out and start the washer. That may be the problem. Please remove the main controll so you can get to the lid switch. Please do not remove the screws all the way out to avoid felling of metal clip into the body of the washer you just have to loose them and then slide out the lid switch & then replace it.

Hello emergsvc - From what you are describing it could be a number of issues that dryer could be experiencing. The unit could possibly have a wiring failure, communication error from the control board, faulty door lock assembly or power supply. I strongly suggest contacting a professional to accurately diagnosis the unit and to properly assist with the repairs.
