My ipod wont turn back on even on the computer

It could be the main board, especially if it's not staying on while you have it plugged in. Do you have the most updated software?

The firewall is blocking the connection. Turn off all computers. Turn off router and modem. In this order, turn them all back on. First modem, wait one minute. Next router, wait one minute. Last, all computers. You should have connection now.

Try resetting it while it is connected. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If you have not already tried, I would also try the other ports on the computer.

Are you running iTunes 8?

And what kind of computer do you have?

Did you try pluging ot in the usb cord and into your computer see what happens.

if u have taken any pictures with your itouch delete them and it would solve ur problem...
i had the same problem i deleted them and it worked perfectly fine

Is the ipod charged? I have had the same issue, because the mixer charges as it plays i have had to wait a few minutes and tryed again. Hope this helps I use a thirty gig as well as a nano for a back-up

Call Dell for support. Looks like something in motherboard detects something (like temperature) then shut down your system.
Probably only need cleaning up inside.

push the hold button on the top to the right then to the left then hold both the center button and the menu button till you see the apple logo it should work fine after than

I left it alone overnight and when i went to charge it da next morning, it waz workin fine.

Hello! This problem is if you messed around with your iPod Touch a lot like hacking it. I hacked it before so I restored it so now it is very good! It is now version 1.1.2. Okay, if you want to fix this problem, hold the home button and the power button for 20-30 seconds until a yellow exclamation mark shows up to tell you to connect to iTunes, this worked for my friend's screwed up iPod Touch. Try this method okay? After you connected it to iTunes, check for updates right away and there you go!
