i will buy both stick and throttle off of you..."if" the price is right. ;-)

anyway...this is old technology stuff...as it is non-USB and windows xp and other new windows don't like Suncom stuff too much. but it can be done. attach the Talon stick to the throttle via it's two plug in ends. you'll see how they plug into the back of the throttle. once that's done, attach a NON-USB keyboard (to make the stick and throttle programmable) into the back of the throttle via the backside of one of the plugs from the stick that you plugged in earlier.
go to Radio Shack or elsewhere and buy a Belkin or whatever "joystick port to USB converter" unit. the salesman should know exactly what it is. cheap...maybe 8 to 10 bucks. also while you are there, buy a big keyboard end to little keyboard end (not USB) end converter adaptor. maybe four of five bucks for this. it converts the really old (BIG) keyboard ends to the more 'normal' (SMALLER) keyboard ends that are usually on the back of your computer. okay, almost done.
plug the USB converter into the big joystick port plug that is attached to the split line that is coming out of the back of your throttle, it's only go on one way so should be easy to do. attach the 'now' USB converted plug end into a USB port on your computer. the "OTHER" end of the split 'throttle' cable end will have that BIG keyboard end on it...plug the BIG to LITTLE adaptor that you bought into that...and simply plug it into the back of your computer where a standard keyboard plugs in.
viola! you are done with that. you may have to monkey around with the switch on the USB adaptor to get the thing working right. it has several settings on the slider switch for different things. try one till you get the one that works best.
go into window's control panel and pull up your GAME CONTROLLERS program. it should now show USB ADAPTOR CONNECTED in the joystick window. configure as per usual and test. there may be some jerky stuff while configuring but keep trying till you get it like you want it. that's it. go in game and TRY it out. some adjustments (trial an error) may be needed, but it should now show up in game and with the keyboard attached, all buttons on both throttle and stick should now be programmable and useable.
not perfect, but it will work fairly well. remember, this is old technology and it is hard to get and keep it tuned into the newer working systems. you may occasionally lose your stick, and have to RE-CONFIGURE all over again. a small price to pay for a WONDERFUL, REALISTIC fighter stick! u can email me if you get into a jam.
