There are no official wiring diagrams because there is supposed to be no home repair. That capacitor has about 120,00 volts at 10 amps just waiting for you to get within an inch of it. It is heart stopping power. There are some general diagrams here.

No. The transformer "transforms" 240 volts to 24. Meaning the high voltage coming into the machine. Normally has a "c",208,240 written on one side. Follow your main power wire into the machine. Branches to heater and transformer. Look at wiring diagram

Most all transformers have the diagram already on side of them with how to wire up. Sounds like your actually talking about a ballast, if this is the case the diagram will be wrote directly on the product as well.

It doesn't make any difference if you only have two wires from the Air Conditioner. I would put red on Y and white on C ..... All the air conditioner needs is a 24 volt Common wire and a 24 volt Power wire to pull the compressor contactor in......

make certain that you connect the right wires into the transformer. there should be a wiring diagram on the transformer, this should tell you where the wires need to go. more info will help.

go to this site. It is your manual for your unit and it has a diagram in it. check it out. The power switch just breaks the power side of the incoming power. The transformer is a/c so it is not polarity sensitive. Usually the transformer will have a black and white wires on one side to indicate the high voltage side.. I have a ladder diagram scanned from the original manual but it is no different that the web site.
