Camera failed I dropped my 10.1 tab and a small part of my screen became loose from the frame, but i fixed it, and everything seems normal. Then I open my camera app, everything is there, but there is no image. I tried flipping the camera and switching to video, but nothing works. There is no image on the screen.

The technical term for this is 'broken'. You may be able to get it repaired, but even if you can, it may be expensive.

SOURCE: Samsung F700V shortcut display problems

I have the same problem with my samsung SGH-F700v. When it's cloused the touch screen is not working but when it's open it works. The problem is in the cable the connects the keyboard with the screen, so you need to change it. I haven't figured out why yet, so if anyone does just reply.

SOURCE: after opening camera in samsung f480 nothing

it's your phone that has a problem I guess. maybe you are doing to many things in the background (e.g. playing music player while texting, etc) that's a reason, it might have been stuck. Try ending applications or restarting the phone. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Samsung U900 Camera Failed

I am not sure if your cell phone service provider is like mine, Altel, but if it is, then they have a nearby service office which can perform advanced operations on the phone. They could thereby reinstall the software. I would tend to think that this corresponds to a hardware problem. It has an electrical failure and an attempt to use it by the software causes an error exit. So, I would suggest you take it to your service provider.

It seems that the Screen resolution of your monitor is increased. If you are using XP follow the steps as under:

Right click on the Desktop

Click on properties

Click on Settings tab

Lower the slider for screen resolution to get a proper size of Icon and text

Shutter frame rate drops to about 1 per sec on CH with MB D10 while using any auto focus lens. 14-24,24-70 or 70-200 and an older 20mm auto focus. With no lens or a manual focus, very old 55mm Micro, lens...

Wow, that's weird. Does it do it with the auto-focus switch on the body turned to manual? I shoot a D300 and know pretty much everything about it there is to know and the D700 is basically the same camera with a full frame sensor. The only things I know of that drop CH frame rate are shooting in 16-bit raw and it shouldn't kill it like that, using full-auto with tracking will also cause a lag in auto-focus but that still doesn't seem right here. If it only does it with the auto focus on then it may have trash on the AF screen in the camera and needs to be cleaned. Try setting the body switch to manual focus, remove the grip and shoot jpeg and see if it still happens. If it does, reset the menu settings and try again. If it still does it than you probably need to give it a trip to Nikon. If it quits than start putting things back one at a time until you figure out what is doing it.
Somebody told me that Nikon will clean the pro cameras for free once a year while under warranty, I haven't looked into it yet to make sure.

Screen not working

If this has happened previously and been 'repaired' [note the quotes-it is not normally a repair for these small items but replacement]
this then would seem to be a fundamental fault with this particular model.
Go for a refund or model change

AE-1 self timmer

The battery is not the problem. It is more likely the the internal switch has failed, (always stuck on self timer). The switch is a ring around the release button for the shutter. The small black tab covers the red LED in normal release mode, the self timer is on when the tab is facing forward.

How to disassemble an old Hitachi projection TV (model 53sbx59b)

To remove the protection screen and lens from my Hitachi model 53SDX89BA:
1) Remove the speaker cover from the bottom. It is attached by velcro.
2) Remove the 4 screws on 4 plastic tabs on the bottom of the screen frame.
3) Remove the 4 screws on the 4 metal tabs on the bottom beneath the screen frame.
4) Pry the bottom corners loose with a wide blade screw driver and work both sides of the screen frame away from the case from the bottom up. CAUTION: The top does not snap away as the sides do. When the sides are loose let the screen frame hang down vertical and lift the screen frame straight up.
5) The protection screen and the lens will come off together.

When reinstalling the screen frame perform the steps in reverse. Be careful when resnapping the frame back onto the case - there are two small wooden support blocks on the bottom. Don't try to force the frame back on until you are sure the bottom of the frame clears these block. You may find it easier just to remove them temporarily until the frame is reattached.

Dropped it!

Don't take it apart yourself, unless you have spent time repairing camera lenses. The tabs that fit into the grooves for the Focus and telescoping mechanism have popped loose from the grooves. This means the lens assembly must be either repaired or replaced. It is extremely difficult to attempt a repair on this assembly. Your best bet for getting this fixed is to send it in to a certified Nikon repair facility. Below is a link to a list of facilities across the country.

Send it in to one of these service centers:

However As this is an older Digital camera you are better off replacing it with a newer model.

Small hair in view finder

That camera has a removable focusing screen. Usually the object(hair) is sitting on top of the focusing screen so the screen has to be dropped down to remove it. There is a clip(frame) accessable from the mirror box that needs to be un-hooked. The frame swings down and usually the screen and a brass shim(s) comes down with it. If your careful and don't actually remove the frame, screen and shim it's pretty straight forward to gently blow the hair out. After removing the hair, gently swing the frame up and clip it back in.If the frame, screen and shim actually fall out it's tricky getting them back in correctly. The screen is also very soft and scratches easily so much care is needed. If you're uncomfortable trying to attempt this then take the MZ50 to a good repair shop. We do this service free and usually while you wait. Other shops may charge you a fee to do it. If the hair is behind the eyepiece then the top cover has to be removed to get the hair out. That is a totally different problem and the camera will need to be repaired. Since the hair dosen't affect the image on the film, you may just want to live with it or have it removed when something else needs to be done when the camera has to be disassembled anyway. Hope this helps.
