Is the AC compressor running when the air temperature starts to warms up?? I need to know if the large line from the AC compressor is getting cold, should be almost frosty?
You need to STOP DRIVING THE VEHICL AND GET THE ENGINE CHECKED. If any water has entered the engine you will destroy it by using it, this could be very costly indeed if you ignore the warning. Engines work by comressing fuel/air misture, water cannot be compressed, it will destroy the innards of your engine
SEE A GOOD MECHANIC ASAP WITHOUT DRIVING THE VEHICL
Warm air could mean ur AC system is undercharged or overcharged. Those are the 2 most common problems. U need to take ur vehicle to the certified AC technician. AC repair can get pretty expensive.
you will need the AC serviced with new gas\dryer and leak test, assuming you can hear the AC compressor turning on and off.
Not sure where you are, but in australia you must be licenced to work on AC, with big fines for releasing AC gas to the atmosphere.
The warm air comes from the engine heat not the AC so the warm being normal just means the fan works
Drain and flush with diesel, disconnect fuel supply near injection pump, flush, hook back up, open supply, near each injector, flush, tighten back up, and vehicl shoule eventually start.
when it gets warm , open the hood and watch the ac compressor , is the clutch still engaged and the front of ac compressor spinning , is the large tube out the back very cold , the other tube should be hot or warm. if the air is warm but the ac is working correctly under hood then you have a issue with the vacuum controls on the inside of car.
