have you tried teflon tape? wrap it around about 7 times and you will be fine.

If the problem is solely because of the rubber washer with screen you can buy any cheap replica hose and use the washer that comes with it. If the issue goes away you are done. If not, switch heads and see if the issue follows the head. If it does then there would be a crack in the head at the connection. If neither solves the issue then you must buy a new hose.

My mx inspiration lxl as a leak from the overflow pipe behind the shower hose it only leaks when turned on this only happened when I changed the shower hose I had to take the shower cover off to do yhis

u need to change the Black Leather Circle, it comes between the shower hose and the pipe!! also check the shower hose from inside you may find some small stones and sands inside!!! i had this before and fixed it the exact same way i told you :)

I understand that the white vac breaker end should be connected to the valve not the hand shower. FYI a little leak from this connection when the water is switched off is normal.

Why does my mx inspiration still leak from top of hose on shower connection , have replaced with new hose plus new seals ? . hope you can help ps no other leaks.

If leak is at the fitting were hose swivels, may need to be tightened.
If threads are leaking, may need to use teflon tape to seal.
Is leak from somewhere else and appears to come from top of hose?
Was original fitting overtightened ?
When or what caused leak to start ?

Leaking hand shower

If it is leaking right where the hose connects to the hand shower, there is usualy a rubber washer inside that may have shifted or need to be replaced. Overtightening is the number one cause for leaks on these. I would try to repair before replacing, as hand showers are costly. Hope this helps.

I have a Paini La Toscana hand shower w/slide bar that I purchased and had installed about 4 years ago. The system works great except the hose has sprung a leak. Where can I purchase the 78" replacement...

I had the same problem appear after 3 years of use. I changed the hose (found on eBay, Chinese knock-off, brushed nickel sleeve) which gave up after 2 months. I think the problem is with the handle, giving too much back pressure. No hose will with stand that much pressure for too long. I changed the handle yesterday.

for some reason the cartridge set up does a sporadic drip which is infuriating but replacing the insert will not fix it
after the cartridge there is just an empty hose to the shower head and no pressure
