I need to know ram memory capacity and type of memory

Buy a new computer with more than 2 Gigs of RAM installed. Problem solved.


Otherwise I guess I simply don't understand why you would not want to remove the 2 smaller RAM modules and just replace them with larger capacity ones.

it will be depending on the motherboard capacity.
you must see the manuals or surf the INTERNET to know your motherboard. In there you can see the maximum capacity of the ram you pc will have.

unfortunately there are no sites with info on this board, but similair ones can take upto 512MB of ram, but you would be wise trying a matching 128MB stick in the other slot. You will have to visit a computer fair to get hold of sdram or try ebay.
