Well let me start off by saying Cect makes knock off phones and in your case its a knock off Iphone.
They are imported phones from Hong Kong (i believe) and are made very cheap.
Most likely if your memory card is too big in size, lets say a 4gig Transflash, and they phone only supports up to a 2gig, well the reason is right there. Your memory card is too big and the phone wont support it.
If the memory card you are using came with the phone, most likely something has gone corrupt or there is a virus on a file you have uploaded or its missing the phones format on the card.
I would go in and first check to make sure the size is supported.
(check the manual or online where you bought it)
if it isnt, than thats your problem.
if it is, i would erase your files from the memory card and see if they phone will read it then. If it does, than one of your files is corrupt and just narrow it down with trial and error until you figure it out.
if you still cannot open the card,
i would search your phone in the settings and the menu until you find a memory card option or an option to format a memory card. Once you have found that, format the card (on your phone) and then go about placing your music and videos in the correct labeled folders.
its transflash right? put it in the sd adapter and if you have a digital camera put the memory card in it and try and take a picture. check and see if its on the card or if the card shows up.
if it shows up on the card, put it back in ur phone and see if u can find that picture.
as for asking for the password,
i dont think it would come with anything pre programed.
search your manual or try like "1111" or "1234" however long it is.... its usually like that if pre programed into the phone..
i hope ive helped anymoreits most likely the memory card then.
i would buy another one if you can.
or heres a lil tip..

Alternatively, use your file manager and open the directory where you have stored the music files. Click on any song and that should open the music player. If that does not happen then check the music format. It shud be the same as the phones supported one. For example mp3 or aac or whatever your phone supports.
make sure you have your phone set up to look at the memory stick and not the phones internal memory. you have to select the memory card as the prefered stoage, the phoen is set up to default to the phones internal memory unless you tell it differently.
Youneed to plug in the phone to the computer while the computer is off. Leave it plugged in, then turn on your computer. This will load the drivers from the phone needed for the computer to recognize it....
connect your phone to a laptop or pc using the usb cable...the phone will then show threee options....choose mass storage. this will then setup the phone so that you can see the memory avaiable on the phone under mycomputer. there will be two drives associated with the phone...the internal memory and the memory card. when you browse the drives you will see various folders...copy the media to the related folders.....hope this helps
i had the same problem, here is what i did.
1. when you download the song, click the documents icon from ur main screen.
2.click memory card
3.scroll down and find the file
4.click it, and from the menu hit "copy"
5. choose the folder you want and click it, it should pop up "empty"
6. go to options at the bottom and click it.
7. you shoud see a menu that says "done" "open" "new folder"
click done. it should pop up "copying" then "done" and ur all set
The CECT i9 and i68+ have JAVA. Unfortunately, most of the free JAVA games out there, are designed for keypad input. You will have to look for specifically "touch screen" apps and games. And among those, not all of them will work. I am afraid it's going to be "trial and error" for a while.
As for HOW to load the JAVA apps and games on your CECT i9, here's how:
On your computer, with the i9 plugged in with the USB cable, drag the JAR or JAD files into the "RECEIVED" folder. After you're finished with everything you want to add, disconnect the i9. Touch your DOCUMENTS button, then "memory card," then "received," you will see your JAR/JAD files listed. Touch the file you want to install. The next screen, choose INSTALL. It will bring you back to the menu choices of "phone" or "memory card." Choose PHONE and select YES. It should give you a message when it has successfully installed. Then exit out to the main screen, touch the JAVA button. Select "Installed Java Software" and you should be able to use your newly installed JAVA apps and games.
i) u download either videos, mp3 music and games from internet and save it to ur computer, then u copy them on to memory card of your phone....
on your memory card u will have specific folders like My Videos, images or Photos, My Music, try store videos into My Videos or Videos folder, thereof............
ii) when try to stores videos on your phone(ur phone supports only specific video formats, like most of them support .3gp videos...........), try using good video converter to converter ur video files(which are in other format such as .vob, .dat, .wmv.....)and play them on your phone...even after this u may encouter message "invalid file", so try choosing best video converter which convert your video to .3gp(compatible to ur phone)---------------
