It depends on how long you had the battery hooked up backwards but check for any ground wires/straps from the engine to the frame or body that are burned in to.

Check the fuses and if that is not the problem have it scanned by a qualified repair tech.

Fuse Problem

check for a fusable link at the battery + terminal. This will be a piece of wire about 6 inches long, maybe 1/8 In in diameter that is attached to the + terminal of the battery. See if the insulation for this piece of wire is cooked looking. Give 9it a slight tug, does it pull apart? This is the fusable link. it needs to be replaced. By it at the autoparts store. Maybe worthwhile to have a shop install it to get really good connections here.

Note the + terminal of the battery is always slightly larger in diameter than the negative.

Good Luck!

Radio and all dome lights are not working.

interior fuse should be the culprit. Look for the Radio fuse inside (normally 10A red) sometimes labeled CABIN on the fuse layout

a bad fuse ...keep looking .....otherwise the main acc power/ or ground to all those dash areas has been cut or compromised...retrace your steps backwards
