I had for 2 years a nuvi 255w and its as working real good. Until one day i tried to open it up and it ask me a code pin. Witch i dont have. Ive been the only one owner on that GPS and never put any pin code on it and now just like that it want one... Grrrr that **** me off i cant use it anymore i dont have any acess anywhere exept that pin code of 4 number,. Is this possibility of update? I dont know I am the only one in that situation?
If this is your phone and you didn't "forget" the code then try these standard codes. try them in series of 4, 6 and 8.....(example 0000 , 000000, 00000000) manufactures and service providers use 0 , 1, 4, and 8 as built in codes. try repeating these numbers the 4 6 and 8 times i mentioned above. also a default setting for cdma devices is the last for digits of the number programed to that device
lemme know if this helps
Usually, the unlock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number, and the security code is either 000000 or 12345. For most Motorola handsets, it's 12345.
If this does not work, consult the manual that came with your phone or take it in to your service provider.
Try the last 4 digits of your telephone number. If that doesn't work 9999 or 0000 are pretty much standard within all cell phone companies. But I strongly encourage you to try the last 4 digits of your phone number. I'm sorry your having so much trouble with this! I hope I was able to help you!
There's good news and bad news. The good news is that you might well
have forgotten that the default password on the phone
is 00000000 (that's eight zeroes). The bad news is that if
you've changed it to something else and that's what you've forgotten,
you might well need to take the phone in to a service center to have
them help you break it back open. Please put a good rating on my profile.
thats no it
