If you have water and power to unit and no kinks in water line and water filter is not clogged then you need to call company you bought it from the machine is under warranty and repairs will be no cost to you.

no, you will need to replace the gasket. U-line gasket is easy to install. You can visit their website and under customer service you will see parts locator. The gasket just pulls out of the track and the new one pushes back in the track. www.u-line.com
if the machine is not yet a year old you can call the back to basics company and they will send out a replacement. This has happened on a couple of mine. If its older than that you can try, but will more than likely have to buy a new one
Ground fault should not be used when you have a compressor plugged to it. The start amps can trip a ground fault. You can try to plug the unit on a regular outlet and if it doesnt trip the breaker then unit should be good. You can try to replace the ground fault if you need it (but make sure you have a higher amperage on the new one.)
well being you purchased the uint 6 months ago you shoudl still have 6 months of warr left. did you try contacting sears, or any authorized maytag servicer to have a look at for you??? maybe a fan has gone bad, or theres a copper line thats causing a vibration through the unit.
What model number is it?
Did you install and connect it to a drain line?
