I purchased DK virtual Reality CAT package. Apparently optimized for windows computers in the Win 95 era (given the trouble shooting topics in the read me file).
Program appears to install without error, but when I go to run it, I get the following error message:
"the sound decompression software has not installed properly, run setup again".
Of course, I ran set-up multiple times, and the error persists.
The computer I am working on is a Dell Pentium II 400 mhz with 320 mb of RAM running Windows XP Service Pack 3. The 10 installed Audio compression codecs include : (IMA ADPCM, Microsoft ADPCM, Microsoft CCITT G.711, Microsoft GSM 6.10, DSP Group TrueSpeech, msg723, Windows Media Audio Codec, Sipro Lab Telecom Audio Codec, Indeo audio software, Fraunhofer IIS MPEG lay-3 Codec, Microsoft PCM Converter).
What am I missing?
