I created different folders to download music from various artists. I had left my computer on while in process of downloading music. A new folder was created and I had to leave the premises. My mom decided to turn off my computer, while that new folder was open, and now that folder is a system folder using about 54G of memory. Windows XP will not allow me to delete nor change it. How can I reclaim this memory?
as you can delete the folder one by one as you have created on your own by default at sys folder thats the only option
try also to system restore option from control panel
When you connect the MP3 player to your computer and the computer detect the player as an external storage device, you can then view the folder on your MP3 player. Open the music folder and create a new folder on the player exactly the same way you create a folder on your computer's hard drive. To organise your music, make a folder name with the name of the music album and place the album's MP3 files in this folder. You will then be able to select the music you want to play by the music album folder.
For backups of music/pictures, you can either user windows backup tool.
Or if you want to choose more specific files then, create a new folder within you new external HD and name it 'Back Up' within this folder create some more folders say Documents, Music and Pictures.
From here navigate to the files/Folders you want to backup and right click and copy them, next head back over to you backup folder we created and paste the files to the relevant folder whether its music pictures or documents.
If you need more just ask.
Access your card from your computer and take note of the files.......your cell phone creates different folders for different menu options.
The folder should be music, but depending on your carrier could be labeled as sounds.....all files should be moved to this specific folder....so
1: access the media card
2: mover the media contents to the appropriate folder
3: your ready to go :)
another option is the copy the entire contents of the card to a folder on your desktop and format the card from the settings menu in your phone..............now you can look through the folders that the device creates to determine the one used for music......
geeeze.....hope i didnt lose you there

Connect Sansa to computer
Double-click "My Computer" icon
Double-click Sansa icon (shows up as "Removable Drive" on some computers)
Select Tools --> Folder Options --> View --> check "Show Hidden Files and Folders"
Double-click Music folder
You should see your music files
Right-click your desktop and create a New Folder - name it some useful name
Drag a music file from the Sansam usic folder to this new folder you have created no your desktop --> it should copy the file to this new folder you have created
-Make sure the file is appropriate.. 30 seconds or less, mp3 format -When you add your music to the memory card, it shows up as a song but not as a ringtone right?
The solution is to create a different folder rather than using the “Music” folder the phoneautomatically creates for you. Transfer your music to this new folder you’ve created. The ringtones should show up as long as it fits the requirements Hope this helps :)
If you want to create folders on your computer to "drop" your types of music into, then you can choose "My Computer", select the disk drive for your mp3 player, then simply right click & select "New", then "Folder", & name it. Then you can drag & drop the music into that folder, which will load it onto your mp3 player as well. BUT, if it does not recognize them as separate lists on the mp3 player itself, then you have to use the EasyRip Module Dock to manage your playlists, where you can move specific songs into a list & save it. OR, if you use Window Media Player, create your playlists there & save them, & typically that will transfer as a playlist for you under the EasyRip Module Dock as well.
Various ways to do the same thing, depending on what you want. Hope this helps!!!
If you look at Creative's website, you will see that there are 17 different model #'s, so there are 17 different ways to backup songs. It would help to have an exact model # http://support.creative.com/Products/Products.aspx?catid=213&catName=MP3+Players
In general, though, you would right click on your desktop, click on new, click on folder - give a name to your new folder like "Creative Zen Backups". The, connect the Zen to the computer, double-click My Computer, double-click the Zen icon or drive letter, double click the music folder, and start dragging those files from the music folder to the new folder on your desktop that you created. But, it will depend on your model #.
