Dvd color mostly blue and pink, colors look weird

try connecting thru an hdmi cable from your dvd player to your tv, check the colors then.. I'd say you have crossed your component cables.. match the connector letters a/b/x? and plug them in one after each other.

My naxa 19" flat screan

Hi, This could be an internal fuse in the tv itself, worth a check if you are confident yourself, make sure you replace it with the exact same type and rating, if it blows then there will be a pretty bad fault somewhere on one of the panels, most likely the power supply.

Please! if you are going to attempt anything yourself be careful, always unplug the TV first before attempting anything and be aware that power can still be held within the TV even when off.

If you are at all unsure please consult your local TV technician.

I have a flat screan and when i turn it on i get

Do you have cable or are you getting channels over the air? Is your TV digital ready? Do you have a digital converter?

If there is an option for setting the formatting to NTSC or PAL, check that you have the correct one selected.

PAL is European and NTSC is North American.

BLUE SCREEN

I got this Sony KP-57WS500 57 in TV for FREE from a guy posting it on craigslist because he saw "BLUE SWIRL LINES" also knows as "Retrace Line" on the screen and he went to several repair people and got high repair costs so he was giving it away for free, but i found a guide that tells you how to adjust the tv to make the blue or green or red lines go away, aparantly the line show up because the voltage on the color ray gun tubes that get out of adjustment. Here is the Link to the REPAIR GUIDE. http://www.somelifeblog.com/2007/06/sony-projection-tv-red-line-repair.html
