I have a phase linear uv8. i got it all connected, tried the radio and it worked fine. i popped in a cd an it reads and even starts to play it, but not through the speakers
It sounds like you have a factory amp in the vehicle. Check behind the radio to see if you have the blue wire from the deck hooked up to anything. You probably do. So take the blue with white stripe wire coming from the deck and hook that up instead of the solid blue wire.

I have an amp & speakers hooked up to my phase linear uv8 and when i play the radio it plays loud & clear. But if I put in a movie or a cd it only plays through the car speakers & not the amp. What's up with that?
