When I power on my skycaddie sgx a box occurs that reads "SGX update.exe" and inside the box it says"error an unexpected error has occurred in the SGX update.exe. Select quit and restart the program or select details for more info." The problem is that the screen is frozen and I cannot select quit or details.

perform a soft reset(a forced restart basically ) . hold power and joystick for 8 seconds. it will turn off. now turn on. if boots up correctly, then ok. if not, then perform hard reset.(remember that this will delete any information already installed..) push the information button (i) and flag button at same time. while both buttons are pressed turn on power. you should be in recovery mode. if so, re-sync.
