SOURCE: Creating a holiday accrual spreadsheet.

Hi, I guess you mean vacation accrual. It's hard to help you here, without knowing the exact accrual formula. However here are some tips: Set up a column with the start date for each employee and use the today() function to get today's date. You can use the days360() funtion to calculate the number of days between two dates, assuming regular 30 days/month. For more date related functions, click on the Fx (letter f with an subscript x) to the left of the value/formula entry field at the top of the spreadsheet. Thsi gives you a wizard with a list of functions. Select the Data/Time group and you see all available functions and can interactively pull them together. Good luck K

I reinstalled xp home ed. And then reinstalled all the dell resource cd's.iam not sure if there is a certain order that you have to install the resource cd's And the drivers on them but I can't...

Hello there.

I suggest you to download software called Driver Robot (freeware)
http://www.fileserve.com/file/X8pSHAP/ParadiseW.net_Driver_Robo_2.5_Build_3.0.rar

When you install it, open and click scan. When it finished click report to a file, save that file and open it. Click get drivers, find drivers you need, download and install it. Restart your computer.
Otherwise, put your dell resource cd in pc, go to device manager, right click on the yellow driver and choose update driver. Choose browse my computer, and then in the field include in in search, find cd, and click next and it will find it and install for you.

I hope I was helpfull.

Sincerely,

Steve TM

I would firstly reboot and if that doesn't clear the error run www.iobit.com asc.setup utility to remove crosslinked files and sort out a crosslinked registry. Failing that remove the driver from the Control Panel and let the OS set up a fresh driver. Make sure the driver is the correct one!

AFW-1430 fire wire card can't find enough resources on my laptop apparently to work

couple of things you want to try:
0. what operating system are you using? 9x may require for you to manually install and assign resources, 2000/xp should take care of resource asignment automatically
0.1. check if the bios version you have is the latest one, if not try to get an update and install... (backup your data first and make sure you get the right update or you may mess your bios for good)
1. check resource assigning in your bios, make sure your irq's are avaliable to be usuable by your operating system to used in order to assign them to the fire wire card.
2. it may take some time but you way want to check through the properties on each of the devices in device manager and look in the resource tab for any conflicts or
3. go to start > run > msinfo32 and look for hardware>share/conflicts
