SOURCE: i am getting a DC error on my alpine cde-102 head

Hello christo12385,

The DC error is most likely caused by a shorted or grounded speaker wire. Check all speaker wires, correct the problem, and then go into the sound setup settings and reset the POWER IC to ON.

Hope this helps.

My Alpine CDE-W235BT bluetooth has stopped working after a failed update. How do I fix it?

Sounds to me like the firmware is damaged, try flashing it with another firmware, or maybe updating it with the same update but successfully if possible.

Is there an adapter I can purchase to be able to play an IPOD with my alpine cde 9841 car cd receiver stereo?

Your headunit doesn't have the option of a plug i Ipod cable, The only way to use it with your stereo is to get an FM Transmitter and you tune into the ipod through the radio.

Hi have just baught an alpine cde 103 bt and the multi changer plug is different to the din lead connecte on my changer ? can i get an adaptor adn where from thanks nick

sorry, the cde 103 will not operate a changer. changers are pretty much on the way out and very few new radios will operate a changer. most are set up to operate mp3's and ipod's.

My Alpine CDE 7872 faceplate goes blank intermittently, the unit still functions, just can't see what station you are on, what track, volume, etc...

is the faceplate detachable? if so remove it and clean the metal contacts on both the din unit itself and the faceplate with rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab or Q tip.

if it is not a detachable face, then i would say an internal solder joint is starting to come loose, that is an older alpine model number after all.

Cant turn off

I would imagine that there is a power button on the device itself, however the problem lies in the wiring that was done to install the radio, there is an accessory wire, normally red, that needs to be hooked up to a wire from the car that alternates on and off with the ignition, you can solve this with a volt meter, touching it to wires to see how they react with the ignition switch.
