Mobile Suit Gundam is a popular Japanese animation show that has a number of series in its franchise. This cartoon has grown into more media including comic books, movies, action figures and video games. Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire was the first video game from this series to be released for the PlayStaion 3. This game was developed and published by Namco and released in conjunction with the PlayStation launch in November 2006.
Unlocking New Suits and Pilots
The Mobile Suit Gundam series is known for the vast number of robot suits that are used in space combat. These machines are piloted by humans and are the future replacement for ground and air troops. In Crossfire you are capable of unlocking many of the suits from different versions of the Gundam anime. None of these suits or pilots is available at the start of the game, so you must complete specific steps in order to unlock them as playable characters. Complete each step to unlock the corresponding character. If you are able to reach the rank of colonel while playing the Federation storyline you will unlock the RX-78-2 Gundam suit. The Kampfer mobile suit becomes playable once you reach the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Zeon campaign. Reaching the rank of warrant general will unlock the first version of the Gundam mobile suit. Char Aznable is a special pilot that you can use once you complete the Zeon campaign mode on the very hard difficulty setting. Finishing the Federation story mode on the very difficult setting will release Amuro Ray as a playable pilot. Beating either campaign on the hard setting will unlock Fraw Bow as a new pilot. Kai Shiden becomes available as a pilot by beating either campaign mode on very hard. To unlock the Hildolfr Gundam suit you must reach the rank of brigadier general on the very hard setting. You have to reach this rank in the December time period before completing the unidentified enemy mission. A successful completion of this mission under these circumstances will also reveal the Gelgong mobile suit. The Xamel mobile suit becomes available in the December month of the Federation campaign. You must be playing on the very hard difficulty setting.
These new pilots and mobile suits have special abilities and strengths not available to those which are initially available for use.
yes, in that you have to use a limited point count, depending on play-style you may want to have some in marksman still. None of the sniper rifle specific perks are useful if aren't using one but scope perks like zoom can help if you aren't spread too thin. Personally I'm waiting for a higher level to spend in marksman since until you can afford and meet level requirements for the highest tier sniper rifles you can be just about as effective. I still have the the first upgraded sniping gun you have to buy because it wins in around corner scope match-ups most times and is a handy backup load-out, because the fire rate is as fast as you can tap and the damage is very good accuracy helps out, wit a fore-grip.. Also it can be suppressed unlike tier 3 sniping guns, tier 2 can be suppressed but need the perks. LMGs are better out in the open and without aiming. It just depends on load out strategy and the maps you'll be on most.
You will have to climb the ranks the regular way by playing. It will take a few months to climb the ladder, but keep at it and you will accomplish your mission. When you reach level 50, go to your playercard and go to prestige and click continue.

Multi Weapons (Online still?) -- Verruckt Buy Bouncing Bettys or have them. Have at least 1 perk you dont have. Waste ONE ONE ONE ONE! Bouncing betty, or use it wisely >:) Go up to a perk machine which you DO NOT HAVE! Set down your bouncing betty, And as soon as the counter ( showing how many bouncing bettys are left) goes to zero, hold X ( or for Playstation Three ) you will have no gun in your hands, go find a gun you want, or spin the box, and buy it
