Only solution for this is take your phone to nokia gallery they will upgrade your software.....we can also upgrade our phone from the internet but the only difference is that our upgrade has a limited access whereas upgrade done by nokia gallery has full access..trust me i have upgraded my phone from nokia gallery and my wap is working very properly now....my handset is nokia 5300...and the charges they took was rs.205 because my phone was out of warranty and warranty phone servicing will be done free of cost.... i had done from nokia gallery mulund west...and they hardly took 30 minutes for the procedure...

Nokia 6300 cannot receive configuraton settings only 70 sets can be saved find a solution

Hi sohail_srk20,

Each time you change the SIM card onto the phone, GPRS settings are automatically saved in the phone memory. Your phone can save only 70 sets of GPRS settings and the 70 empty lots are used now. So now when you change the SIM, you automatically receive settings, and they cant be saved because the GPRS settings memory is full. Hence you get the message.

Follow the steps below to remove the settings:
1) Go to MENU > SETTINGS > CONFIGURATION > DEFAULT CONFIGURATION SETTINGS.

2) You'll see the list of GPRS settings saved on your phone in this page.

3) Select each of the settings you want to remove by selecting OPTIONS > DELETE.

Next time you change back to another SIM card, the settings are saved in the empty lots you just created. Once they become full, the same message shows up again.

If this information was helpful, please rate it.

Thank you for using fixya,

Arun Zac
