I9 phone keypad not workig

Cange new keypad..otherwise motherboard problm..

Can anyone help me unlock my boostmobile Motorola i9 subsidy lock please?

turn off the lock feature for the screen settings/security setup/autolock keypad. seems to have worked for mine but bummer not being able to lock keypad.

go to your phone book select the person...now go to options and add to speed dial (slots 2 thru 9)...
to speed dial..go to phone and press the number on keypad then press phone...you can also speed dial 11 thru 250...by pressing the number then #....come just for the fun of it...go to phone and the keypad (act like we making a call) now press 19# (who came up)...try 15# and so on (this also depends on how many is in you contact....if you only have a fave 5...19 & 15# will not work,,,

Supposing these games and apps are installed correctly the problem is that most games and apps you find are for phones with a 'certain' number of keys, and the i9 has NONE ... the only solution is to try and convert them with a program called 'JAM'. This program 'tries' to convert programs to work with the stylus instead of keypad .... sometimes works, most times doesn't ....

Input 1122 or 0000 on the keypad to resotre to factory settings.

The CECT i9 and i68+ have JAVA. Unfortunately, most of the free JAVA games out there, are designed for keypad input. You will have to look for specifically "touch screen" apps and games. And among those, not all of them will work. I am afraid it's going to be "trial and error" for a while.

As for HOW to load the JAVA apps and games on your CECT i9, here's how:

On your computer, with the i9 plugged in with the USB cable, drag the JAR or JAD files into the "RECEIVED" folder. After you're finished with everything you want to add, disconnect the i9. Touch your DOCUMENTS button, then "memory card," then "received," you will see your JAR/JAD files listed. Touch the file you want to install. The next screen, choose INSTALL. It will bring you back to the menu choices of "phone" or "memory card." Choose PHONE and select YES. It should give you a message when it has successfully installed. Then exit out to the main screen, touch the JAVA button. Select "Installed Java Software" and you should be able to use your newly installed JAVA apps and games.
