SOURCE: rear passenger window off track
You have to carefully remove the panel. They are all "snapped" into place. If you have not done this before, it's hard to describe. You may have to remove a lever, I have never done the back panels, just the front ones, but it was not too bad. Use a medium sized screw drive and take your time.
Odds are there is a green / yellow plastic part that has failed. This usually happens on the front ones, but I guess it could on the back ones. This plastic part fails that holds the window in the runners.
Once the panel is off this is easy to fix. You will have to get the part at a dealer and the put back on. There is a metal retaining pin you will have to deal with.
When testing, please be very careful putting the window all the way up. It is amazing how easy it is to break a window if it is not lined up correctly. My friend broke two trying to fix one of his cars (not a Saab).
I have had to fix a front in my wife's 2001 replacing the plastic part.
This is a known issue

Wil it work at the door switch or not at either switch? If not make sure you have power and ground to the motor in up and down positions. if so suspect the motor. Also the cable operated regulators break and will not let the window go up or down

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
