I can't get my MAC to find the bluetooth optical mouse. It finds other devices, but not the mouse. Do I need drivers for the MAC?

What type of MAC and Blue Tooth mouse are you using? You could try the following:
* Make sure you have fresh batteries in the mouse.
* Do you have another device you could connect the Blue Tooth mouse to to test?

How to turn on bluetooth on mac

This is a category for PC, not Apple laptops.

But here is the answer.

If you own a MacBook Pro, go to the bluetooth icon near the top left of your desk top, and click on set up bluetooth device. Make sure the Bluetooth speakers are on when you do that.

Read other options here.

I have a mighty mouse wireless that I have used with my desk top mac but I am on vacation and I would like to use the mouse with my mac book laptop. I am willing to keep it paired with my laptop so I can...

First check the mac supports the mouse, then

Under your bluetooth menu you will find

Apple wireless mouse, that is were it is on my old white macbook.

Turn on the mouse the mac will find it, if not the use

Set up bluetooth device (found lower down in same menu)

Hope this helps

I have a brand new I-Mac with Snow Leopard. I just bought a Gear Head KBL8000WRBT keyboard and mouse set. I started with the mouse. The computer recognizes it, but won't pair with it.

Since iMacs are not primarily designed to run with equipment like this (They can run it, but the equipment usually says 'No! I don' know what you are!') Try using the apple Magic mouse. (I'm not sure if they have a W/L keyboard.)
