Create a new account chikka - Computers & Internet

Personally I'd love to help you but this is the first time I've heard of this "Chikka" and I currently do not have the time to look into it.

I'm unsure what kind of messaging program this is but you could also try using some other program to communicate with you father. Like WhatsApp, Windows Live Mail, Gmail or Skype. All of these messaging services are free to use and messages are sent/received almost instantly.

Only one person is supposed to know your password. If you forgot it, when logging in, on that page is a button, forgot password or something like that. Press the button and you will get an email, on the address you gave the site while setting up your account. Follow the instructions in the mail and everything will be ok in just a few minutes.
If someone hacked your account and did change the settings, you don't get an e-mail, you won't be able to claim the account. You have to setup a new account.

are you using the new version? chikka version 6? on the lower left, you will see a gear icon, click it, then click View Credits. You can check there how many remaining message you can send.

If you can't access you account in chikka because you forgot and cannot recover your email password, you can create a new email account then register for a new chikka account.

Go for the link "can not access account" of your login page of the account browser. Click for the one of the alternatives, which you think you have provided the information.

What do I need to sign up for a Chikka account?

To sign up for a "Non-Mobile Account" , you need a valid email address. Upon successful registration, a permanent system generated Chikka ID will be assigned to you. Your mobile contacts will see this number as the "sender" when they receive your text messages. They may then save this number in their address book. They can also text you to this number anytime from their mobile phones.

If you own a Philippine mobile number (Globe Telecom, Smart Communications or Sun Cellular), you can create a "Mobile Account" linking your mobile phone and your Chikka ID together with a valid email address.

With a Mobile Account you can continue sending and receiving Chikka messages as text on your mobile even if you have signed out.

On signing in you can use any of your mobile number or email address as your Chikka ID.

Send a report with your Account details to [email protected] so Chikka Team can investigate your concern at once.

Here are the steps on how to use Chikka Text Messenger.

1) Register at www.chikka.com / http://register.chikka.com .
2) - If you register your mobile phone, then your Chikka ID is your mobile phone number (For example: 639171234567). Your password will be sent to your mobile upon registration
- If you register your email address, then your chikka id is the number you are automatically assigned to by the Chikka system. Please click on the link sent to your email upon registration to get chikka id and password.
3) Log in to your account from www.chikka.com or from the downloadable client (Chikka Text Messenger Version 5) which you may download here: www.chikka.com
4) Add your buddies using this format 639xxxxxxxxx.
5) Start sending messages.

When you sign-in to Chikka using your mobile phone number and password (retrieved by sending an SMS to the operator-supplied shortcode) you enjoy the full benefits of a Unified Account. This makes the Chikka Messenger and your mobile phone virtual extensions of each other. When you are offline, you have the option of having your messages forwarded to your mobile phone.
