The fact that everyone says the PUK is with your phone or sim package must depend on the network I have Telus bought my phone like yesterday still have the box and everything there is no PUK code located in the materials at all. After I talk to Telus I will see if ther is an easy way to know your PUK I have done this once before years ago and the solution was easy but I dont recall what it was I will try to update tomorrow after I find out if the PUK is anywhere with my packaging
PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways -The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity. For details to obtain the PUK code for the SIM card, pleaseclick on this link and follow my instructions.

PUK is sim specific and has nothing to do with the phone. It's the security embedded on the sim card. You have to get the PUK code in the card attached in the sim card packaging when you bought it and enter the PUK Code to be able to access your sim. If you can't find it, you have to report to your telecom provider. If they can't do anything, it's time to buy a new sim card.
