You simply go to your lock button and switch it (you push it the opposite direction) then it should be off the lock screen IF IT WORKS YOUR ARE SO WELCOME!!!!!!! Hope I helped Bye
It depends what kind of lock you mean. If you mean Hold, then yes, try flicking it the other way, with force if you have to. Or, you might mean screen lock. If you mean screen lock, you should just plug your iPod into the computer to sync it, and then it will unlock it.

If You Set The Passcode On It Try Entering It, If Not Reset The Ipod By Holding Down The Lock Button And The Center Circle For 5-10 Seconds. If This Doesnt Help Try Connecting It To Itunes Store
Usually if your lock Icon is visible on any ipod, that indicates the Hold "button" is in the locked position. If the hold button isn't in the locked position, I'd try sliding it to the locked position and then back over to the unlocked position as the button sometimes comes free of the bracket that actuallys slides the switch.
This support document also provides additional information on locking and unlocking the iPod. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the iPod by doing the following:
Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. have you tried the sliding lock button at the top of the unit? If you can see the red indicator it is locked.
if it is locked by the password you will need to connect it to the computed, start iTunes and on the sync page you shoud see a reset button.
Do a reset and resync.

When connect ipod to computer, go to my computer. Click on ipod:- -click on tools, go to folder options -go to view tab -check show hidden files -a ghost like folder will apear: ipod control -click on it and go to device -there will be a locked file -click and delete it
