Is video calling on the LG shine free? are there hidden costs?

You can download a free program called bitpim from bitpim.org. You can make your own tones, and transfer pics, videos, addressbook and more. There are some good youtube videos that will show step by step how to make the ringtones.

You can download ringtones from the at&t store from the phone. Then once it is downloaded, you can set as ringtone or playback. The info is on page 76 of the manual. Too much info to paste here. If you want more info, let me know.

You better call AT&T and ask them for the unlock code. I was able to ask them the unlock code last February 13. And they are very nice to assist you.

The code for the master engineer's menu which LG claims doesn't exist is 277634#*# it will open a hidden menu of options one is master reset phone to defaults without current security code. tested and verified on my shine

that happened to me too. you have to call your service provider and they will give it to you. make sure you dont guess because if you run out of chances you cant get back into your phone!
