Here are some reported AMIBIOS passwords:

A.M.I., AAAMMMIII, AMI?SW , AMI_SW, BIOS, CONDO, HEWITT RAND, LKWPETER, MI, and PASSWORD

If you call asus and ask for documentation on the keyboard keys they will send the information to you.
Not sure but they may have something on there site.

Master password for what?? If the bios or windows has a password then it was set by someone after purchase, as far as i can tell there is no default password for the bios on this computer, and the windows password would be whatever someone set it to.

The only thing that a bios update would do would update the bio your password info should stay the same maybe your not typing it right try typing with or without cap lock
