How you doing. you have to pull the plastic clips behind the lights up and off bye hand or plyers. Should be 2 or 3 yes its a pain but has to be done. Then you can pull the headlight housing out to replace the bulb. hope this helps you. [email protected]

SOURCE: change headlights 96 oldsmobile 88

some cars have a plastic cover over the headlight area, all you do is pull it off. it's velcro. you don't need much room because all you need to do is twist the bulb and pull it out.

SOURCE: 1999 oldsmobile delta battery changed but won't power on

If everything else checks out Ok in the ignition system (electrical) and if the engine and transmission turn freely, that sound like you might have starter drag.Check to see if you have good connections at the starter.I know its new but check your battery for 12 volts, good connections, ect.

SOURCE: The wheel cover has a key or key lock to lock the wheels.

Not that you haven't checked, but most of them stored in the glove box or the trunk where the spare is kept.

Anyway, if you are looking for a key, they come in various colors, but you must specify color needed [red, green, yellow, silver, black]. Pop the emblem in the center of the hubcap and see if there is a colored circle or if the bolt head has a color dot on it. Once you find the color you need, they are available online or local for ~ 5-10 bucks. Check your parts stores, hubcap/wheel stores, tire shops for help finding or using one.

SOURCE: I need to remove the interior door panel from my

most of the screws will be located at or near the armreast and under the map popcket on the lower door (if it has one) just work gingerly in pulling off the pannel using the proper tool. If you take your time you will find all of them work slowly and look before you pull. There are clips at the top of the door that are holding it in place to remove the pannel you will have to move it in an upward direction.

Where is the fuse box on a 1997 Oldsmobile 88?

I assume the fuse box locations for a 1997 Olds 88 would be the same as for a 1999 - which are: (1) In the lower cover panel below the instrument cluster just left of the steering column - with a snap-off cover. (2) Passenger side 'kick panel' - side panel under the dashboard just forward of the door - lower cover panel underneath the dashboard and next to the firewall must first be removed. (3) Under the hood on passenger side on the firewall - need to remove black plastic outer cover (1/4 turn finger latches) then two black plastic inner covers (side spring latches).

How do i get to the blinker bulb on the 97 olds 88ls in the fron?

To change the blinker or headlight bulb on an 1997 Oldsmobile 88: Open the hood, remove the plastic cover thing so that you can see the housing for the light. On the back side of the housing there are three clips, remove those (I was able to remove them with just my fingers). Once the clips are removed the whole headlight slides out the front of the car. Now you can easily replace any of the blown bulbs.
