You will need the model number to find this info. Usually on a plate or sticker under the seat. The use a parts site like jackssmallengines.com or simply Google your make and model followed by "deck belt"

Many of these machines have a belt route schematic on the underside of one of the foot rests

there should be a diagram on the new belts package showing how it goes
