Try tapping the base of the (battery opening) torch on a hard surface so the battery can slide out.

Flashlight batteries stuck in body

There are a couple of ways that can free a cell that has expended and is wedged inside a light.

One is to remove the tailcap and rap the end of the battery tube squarely against a piece of soft wood like pine. It will keep from damaging the end of the battery tube and the shock my slowly work the cell out of the light until it comes out.

Another is to tie a strong cord around the head of the light so that when you hang it the tail end is hanging down. Remove the tailcap, of course, and go outside to a safe place where a flying battery won't hurt anyone or anything. Start swinging the light as fast as you can so that centrifugal force can pull the stuck cell out of the battery tube.

There are a couple of other things you can do if the cell is near enough to the end of the battery tube.. If you have a soldering iron and can reach to the end of the battery with it, try soldering a strong length of wire to the end of the battery and pull the cell out.

I hope one of these helps. ;)

My cell phone keeps shutting off on its own, and not turning back on, on its own. it is fully charged and i've tried taking the battery out and blowing it off, but it keeps doing this.

Check that the power button isn't stuck partially depressed. If that isn't it, you've got issues inside the phone that are going to require qualified service, or an internally damaged battery.

My phone will not charge i have tryed 2 nokia chargers and it will not charge at all. what should i do?

First ,
Check the mobile connector charging, check if there is a PIN in it,if there is no PIN inside that

means the charging connector needs to be changed and replace a new one.
If there is a PIN inside that means the problem might not be from the charging connector ,so now
check the battery connectors (the metal golden parts),if they are still golden and there is no dirt on them ,
check the battery metal golden parts ,if there was a dirt or some rust on the battery connectors or
on the battery metal golden parts just clean them with a some blade thing wich it can remove the
dirt surface stuck on them.
Then after you do all what mentioned above ,try to charge your mobile.

The last battery in my 3-cell Maglight (closest to the end, farthest from the bulb) has leaked acid out inside the tube /handle and caused the battery to get stuck, I can't get it out to clean it up and...

Unscrew the lens and remove the bulb, then get a small disposable container and fill it about an inch full with WD-40, or a similar de-seizing fluid. submerge the stuck end in the fluid for a few minutes and it should come off without issue. Make sure to clean the tube completely before replacing the bulb, lens, and batteries.

1 "D" cell battery is corroded and stuck inside.

Here are the instructions:
http://www.maglite.com/pdf/CustServ/CD_switch_repair_8_0410212004718132.pdf

If you remove the tail cap (the part that you unscrew to put the batteries in the flashlight) and the head assembly (the part that has the light bulb) you should be able to push the battery out. Wear some of those disposable latex gloves as that chemical that comes out of the batteries is very corrosive. Or at least wash your hands really well before touching anything, especially your eyes. Good luck.

I have a D cell battery stuck inside

Unscrew both ends and spray WD40 or a similar lubricant around the edges of the battery and allow it to penetrate all the way around. Afterward, try tapping around the area where the battery is to loosen it up. Then try shaking it in a up/down motion.

Bios stuck on my toshiba L305D-S5934 it not doing nothin when pressing F2 or F12 but CTRL/ALT/DELETE then it just restarts.. i took out RAM, then computer will not boot up replace ram one at a time bios...

u can re-set the BIOS by removing the BIOS battery, the BIOS battery(wrist watch cell) is the size of a Dime inside the laptop, so you need to open the laptop, i suggets you visit a technician to do this.
Try doing the following also.
remove the power adaptor and remove the battery from the notebook, keep pressing the power button for 3 - 4 mins. Refit the battery / power and re-start.
