When pressing the power-on button the notebook screen stays blank and a long series of beeps tarts and last foe upto secshen stops and letlogon I di know that when you get 'Beeps' coming from a computer on startup means that there is a problem. Does anybody know what my Notebook problem is?

there is a touch screen button next to the touchscreen play icon when you turn it on it turns red when its off it is invisible so try just slide your finger over it until it goes red==> thats if you have the medion akoya :)

I believe on the medion you have there may be a switch on the front or side to turn on the wireless. That or FN key and F1.

are the drivers installed? check out the laptops website and put in your model number. then, try yahoo or some other webcam-enabled messenger. you can find webcam programs online for free but ive never used anything else.

I have just bought the same Laptop, when windows Vista is started the webcam doesn't work. By pressing the keys FN + F9 the webcam will be activated (you have to do this every time you start your laptop)
NOTE:If the computer fails to display an HP BIOS Update screen, press and hold the Power
button for 5 seconds to turn off the computer. Wait 5 seconds and try
again. If, after repeated attempts, you cannot open the HP BIOS Update
screen, your computer does not support this function or it has a
