CHECK UR WATER TEMPERATURE THERMOSTAT AND UR WATER INLET VALVE THE COLD WATER COIL MAY HAVE GONE BAD OR GOTTEN CLOGGED ? CHECK UR WATER LINE FROM THE HOUSE TO MACHINE TO MAKE SURE ITS OK
If the heater element is working, that leaves the thermostat and the control board. You can test the thermostat and rule that out or pin point it as the problem.
if you have already got the new heater and it looks like this, this it is an inline heater. These are usually mounted where the inlet water enters the wash sump.
Should be connected to the water solenoid which looks like this.
There is a problem with the heater element. The heater won't work, unless the wash motor is running. You need to replace heater element in your dishwasher.
How far is your water heater from your dishwasher. I knew someone who had to get a circulating pump. His dishwasher was so far form the water heater so when the dishwasher would fill, it used the cold water that is sitting in the pipes and by the time the hot water got there, the dishwasher didn't need any more water. the pump will keep the water circulating back and forth to and from the hto water heater. Or you an get one of those electric small heaters that heat on the spot as well.
Hello .. when an electric water heater only gets warm, it is usually the thermostats. I would replace the thermostats, make notes where the wires are connected .. make sure after replacing that the back of the thermostat is flat against the metal of the tank.
Follow the heater wiring (with the power off would be wise) until you find the thermostats and safety cutouts. These will be small (perhaps half inch across) round or square two-terminal devices bolted directly onto the outside of the tub.
Use a multimeter in ohms mode to find out whether any of these is open-circuit. Reset (some cutouts have a small button in the middle: press it, and if it clicks, you've won) or replace any that are.
hi there.....there is no element as such...it is whats known as a through heater....can be difficult to test in situ....however if testing ok then you require a replacement rogramer
