Check Fuses and Relays, but this has a GEM (general electronics module). You may need and auto-electrician as nothing covers brake lights, but that may be a fault with the brake light switch.

Yes there is a fuel pump relay in the battery junction fuse panel under the hood.

We have no wiring diagrams here at fixya, they are copyrighted by Ford and not shared onthe internet due to that reason. You can buy a used factory booklet of diagrams HERE very cheap.

It should be in the fuse box next to the battery in the engine compartment. There is a fuse location diagram inside the fuse cover.

Absolutely your Ford Taurus uses a fuel pump, with fuel injection the fuel pump is an electric fuel pump capable of higher pressures needed for the injectors, the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank, sometimes the fuel tank has to be removed from the vehicle to service the pump, and some vehicles that I have worked on have an access panel under the rear seat to open up and access the pump that way. Ford fuel pumps are inside the gas tank.

Position #16 20A* Fuel Pump Relay
position #30 fuel pump relay fuse.

check the fuel pump itself.. if no fuel going through lines... injectors won't work.
